  • The Sospeso Café is more than a place to grab a cup of coffee, it’s a space where community begins. Every drink poured, every scoop served, and every table shared reflects our belief that belonging isn’t earned; it’s extended through genuine connection. Alongside our coffee, guests can enjoy authentic, homemade Italian gelato, crafted with care and love, just as it was taught to our team by our cousin Riccardo who came from Italy in December 2025, a master Italian gelato maker through an intensive 2 weeks, hands-on training. Each flavor is a small act of dignity and delight, made with the same attention and heart we believe every person deserves. Here, neighbors, students, and families can slow down, share meaningful conversation, and feel part of something real. Proceeds directly support our community programs.

  • Our thrift store is built on the idea that renewal can be both practical and beautiful. Every item on our shelves tells a story of shared generosity, where one person’s gift becomes another’s new beginning. Proceeds directly support our community programs, creating a cycle of dignity, sustainability, and care. Shopping here means participating in a community rooted in hope and restoration.

  • Through Pomona Learning Loft (PLL), students, tutors, and mentors come together to build confidence, curiosity, and a deep sense of belonging. Each session, whether tutoring, mentorship, or skill-building, is rooted in relationship, meeting students where they are and encouraging them to grow and thrive. We are honored to be an approved partner with Pomona Unified School District (PUSD) and the School of Extended Educational Options (SEEO), providing tutoring, mentoring, job training, and counseling services. Through this partnership, we have entered into an Agreement for Services with PUSD and SEEO granting exclusive use of the PLL downtown space which becomes a place of dignity and welcome, where students are seen, supported, and reminded of their inherent worth.

  • At the heart of Sospeso is the belief that healing happens in relationship. Our counseling and mental health services provide a safe, welcoming space for individuals and families to be seen, supported, and renewed. We approach care with humility and presence—listening before leading, and honoring the courage it takes to ask for help. Here, every person is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

  • Our job readiness and workforce programs are rooted in the belief that work is a sacred expression of human dignity and participation in the restoration of the world. As an approved workforce training site in partnership with the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB) and the Pomona America’s Job Center of California (AJCC), we help open pathways to meaningful employment and renewed possibility.  In the spirit of our core values, we walk gently alongside each person, especially those who have been overlooked or discouraged, as they build skills, craft resumes, and rediscover their God-given purpose through dignified work. Whether it is a first job or a new beginning, we foster belonging, confidence, and hope, trusting that even the smallest steps can lead to transformation.

  • The Sospeso Teaching Kitchen is a space for nourishment in every sense of the word. We gather around food to share knowledge, culture, and connection, empowering neighbors to cook, learn, and care for one another. From practical skills to shared meals, the kitchen is where generosity becomes tangible and community grows stronger.

  • Sospeso’s co-working and meeting spaces provide room for ideas to take root and collaboration to flourish. Entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and community leaders use these spaces to create, learn, and partner with purpose. With reliable Wi-Fi, shared resources, and a spirit of hospitality, our rooms are designed to foster creativity and connection.

…and more, all under one roof.
